PAPPAS ON THE SQUARE
The Brand. Pappas is an award winning, family owned restaurant located on the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton. They believe in fresh, quality produce and innovative, well-presented dishes. While they still offer a wide variety of traditional Greek dishes, their Mediterranean menu has evolved with the history of the restaurant spanning over three decades.
The Process: Pappas approached us when looking at doing a store re-vamp and wanted to update their brand at the same time. With the brand being established over 30 years ago, we developed a brand blueprint to ensure the brand’s essence and heritage was kept alive. The thing that sets the Pappas brand apart is that it’s an authentic Greek restaurant with family generosity. The typeface used looks Greek in appearance and the colour palette selected of copper, dark and light blue ties into an authentic Greek experience.
Our team developed a unique pattern created from the logo that has been used in the interior design throughout the restaurant.
